The history of Alta California represents a significant chapter of American history. The book's newly rediscovered images often highlight overlooked contributions and experiences of Indigenous Californians. Here is an incisive, accurate account of the Spanish mission history, presenting California Native ancestry.

As a resource on California's founding period, the book provides a thorough background on founding narratives in a 180-page hardcover volume. We are seeking a professional copy editor and publisher team, distribution contacts, marketing, book signings, and potential traveling display opportunities with these symbolic photos.

 Join us in the celebration of the AMERICA 250 Commemorations, and the contributions of your much-appreciated time, money, or both to this cause! Our goal is to support reaching our publishing date, an affirmation for public access in honor of California’s Indigenous heritage, with a deeper understanding of its history. 

 As the author, I look forward to seeking a collaborative partnership to move the publication forward. I am requesting the Native American tribal bands, California State Historic Parks, and private foundations to join us in this important ongoing work! 

 The premiere of the new book, Alta California, affirms the many tribal nations of Native Californians with the efforts to honor their past and provide cultural support to Native museums aligned with the Alta book's theme of recognition. 

The book's pathway leads to the historical centers of California's identity and reexamines the underlying roots of California's cities and town names from the Spanish Mission period (1769 to 1840), in a gallery exhibit memorializing the founding the Alta colonial era.

We are working towards a September 2026 release through Ingram Content providers, bookstores, libraries, museums, and by direct mail. This POD format furnishes an oversized-landscape softcover at a reasonable price. Please bookmark the Alta website for release updates!
